The system delimits the assignment of material categories, logistical requirements, and reportable item codes on the basis of the end date of the related organizational unit.

Assignments that are outside of the lifetime of the object are deleted. Assignments that end after the end date of the object are delimited to the end date of the object.

Example:

An MPO is assigned from 01/01/2005 to 12/31/2010. The organizational unit is valid until 12/31/2006. After the follow-up action has been carried out, the MPO assignment only remains valid from 01/01/2005 to 12/31/2006.
