Functionality

This class contains methods to influence field selection for the serial number within the framework of a determination method for the BOPF.

The methods must be executed after the determination of the status- dependent field selection. The standardfield selection determines the changeable fields for the relevant status. The class /SCWM/CL_DLV_SN_D_FIELDdetermines whether serial numbers are to be ready to accept input in the delivery on the basis of the serial number profile of the product, the processing status of the delivery, and the HU assignment.

If serial numbers are generally to be ready to accept input, the table of changeable fields must be supplemented by the logical field name /SCWM/SERID_I.

The result of the determination applies to all serial numbers for the item. A refinement for individualserial numbers is effected in class /SCWM/CL_IM_DLV_SN_FIELD, a BAdI implementation for the enhancement spot /SCDL/SP, BAdI /SCDL/SP_EX_FIELDCTL.

Relationships

Example

• Serial number requirement has been defined for a product in Inventory Management. As a result, aserial number may only be assigned to an outbound delivery via a warehouse task. The Serial Number field is switched to Display.

• The goods receipt has already been posted for an inbound delivery. The serial number table showswhich serial numbers were assigned to the delivery at the time of goods receipt. These may not be changed. The field is switched to Display.
