Functionality

This class contains methods to influence the field selecton for the serial number within the framework of a determination method for the BOPF.

The methods must be executed after the determination of the status- dependent standard field selection.The standard field selection determines the changeable fields for each relevant status. The class /SCWM/CL_DLV_SN_D_FIELDdetermines whether serial numbers are to be ready to accept input in the delivery on the basis of the serial number profile of the product, the processing status of the delivery, and the HU assignment.

If serial numbers are basically to be ready to accept input, the table of the changeable fields must be supplemented by the logical field name /SCWM/SERID_I.

The result of the determination applies to all serial numbers for the item.

A refinement for individual serial numbers is effected in the class /SCWM/CL_IM_DLV_SN_FIELD, a BAdI implementation for the enhancement spot /SCDL/SP, BAdI /SCDL/SP_EX_FIELDCTL.

Relationships

Example

• Serial number requirement is defined for a product in Inventory Management. As a result, a serialnumber may only be assigned via a warehouse task for an outbound delivery. The Serial Number field is switched to Display.

• The goods receipt has already been posted for an inbound delivery. The serial number table showswhich serial numbers were assigned at the time of goods receipt for the delivery. These may not be changed. The field is switched to Display.
