Functionality

This class provides converter objects for converting texts from one code page to another code page.

The class objects are simple converter objects.

The constructor allows very detailed control of all the possible special cases.

Relationships

Neighboring classes CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE,CL_ABAP_CONV_OUT_CE andCL_ABAP_CONV_X2X_CE also exist, but there are some differences between them:

• These other classes also feature buffer management as well as the converter object.

• These other classes only offer standard conversion.

• For this reason, these other classes do not have the variety of parameters that can be used to influence the constructor.

Example

Test program RSCP0032 can be used to test all properties.
