Functionality

This class provides a series of methods that enable you to compress and decompress texts (as a C string or C field) or binary data (as an XSTRING or X field) using GZIP.

The following methods are available:

• COMPRESS_TEXT

• COMPRESS_BINARY

• DECOMPRESS_TEXT

• DECOMPRESS_BINARY
