Functionality

Given certain selection variants, this class method is used to dynamically select the objects in theBOS-PS Cost Transfer. This class method accepts the selections from the selections dialog, runs a comparisonreport for matching the data in the database and chooses certain key field values from these selections before returning them to the database.

In this process, this class performs certain filtering functions depending on the structure or type of the selection, the Selection ID, allowed tables/fields in these selections, and so on.

Relationships

CL_BOSPS_DYNAMIC_SELECTION uses the method ACCEPT_DYNAMIC_SELECTIONS to display the Selections dialogand runs the COMPARE method to compare application data for matching. Subsequently, the key field values are picked from the report and the object(s) are returned to the database.

Notes

The calling program should have at least one selection screen. Otherwise, saving the selection variants would lead to a short dump.
