Functionality

Reads the field structure of a table or structure (DFIES) from the DDIC using function module DDIF_NAMETAB_GET. The result is bundled in an object instance.

Notes

The instantiation is carried out with method S_CREATE. The buffer of the Application Server can be read with the static method GET_BUFFER. A reference to the buffer is generated with the static method GET_BUFFER_REF.

Static method GET_DFIES_DIRECT can also be used to read the DFIES structure. This method returns the DDIC information directly. No instance is generated.
