CL_CHK_STS_HTML_HIDFIELD - Consistency Check for Critical ABAP Statements

Functionality

The following Statements are treated as Critical ABAP Statements.

",,INSERT REPORT

",,GENERATE SUBROUTINE POOL

",,EDITOR-CALL FOR REPORT

This Checkman Check scans the source code to find out the occurrence of any of these statements and if found they are reported as various priority errors.

Relationships

As these Statements allow the User to Create/Edit the ABAP Source dynamically, they are reported as High priority Security Vulnerabilities as per Security Standard Requirement SEC-151.

Notes

EDITOR-CALL FOR REPORT can be used with DISPLAY-MODE option to avoid this Security Vulnerability reporting.

Authority Check using S_DEVELOP can also be performed to avoid this reporting for the usage of the above ABAP statements.
