Functionality

The class CL_BTF_FIELD describes the properties of a field that can be used in a text. The field actsas a placeholder for data. For each field you can define one replacement value,which means that if a field occurs more than once in a text, the replacement value is the same for eachoccurrence of the field. You can indicate whether the field should only be replaced later.

Fields are grouped together in thefield administration.
