Functionality

The new user interface in CRM 5.1 is based on the Business Object Layer (BOL). When set types and attributes are created in CRM 5.1, they are added to the object model for products and are therefore available in BOL.

When upgrading to CRM 5.1, table entries and structures have to be generated for the set types and attributes created in earlier releases so that these are also available in BOL.

The class CL_CRM_PRODIL_UPGRADE_50 is called as part of the report COM_PRODUCT_UPGRADE, which has to be executed after an upgrade. It does the following:

• Creates entries in the tables CRMC_PRIL_OBJ, CRMC_PRIL_STOREL, and CRMC_PRIL_METHOD

• Generates a structure for multiple-value attributes and multiline set types

When the report COM_PRODUCT_UPGRADE has been executed successfully the set types and attributes created in earlier releases are also available in BOL.
