Functionality

CL_DATA_REQUEST_POC maps an elementary step. The data request can be used to supply data (output valueonly) and store data (input value). A value verification is carried out at value level, and deviation handling, including signature handling, can be defined.

Information such as the data format, value help, and value length can also be requested.

Deviation handling can also be defined for a data request. This contains a deviation text and a strategy for what to do with the values (PPPI_ACCEPT_INVALID_INPUT). All deviating values are recorded in a log.

Values are set via the methods EXECUTE + Parameter and can be retrieved using GET_VALUE.

Notes

CL_DATA_REQUEST_POC implements the interface IF_SERVICE_OPERATION_POC added for values with validation.

If a value is changed by any side other than the Request, an EXECUTE is also executed, so that the status is updated correctly.
