Functionality

For the systems that have alternative company IDs, in the view V_TICRC_CNUM, you can define the namesof the company in the external system. The standard implementation of the BAdI FI_ICRC20_CNUM reads table TICRC_CNUM and determines the company ID with which the documents are read.

This function is realized by the function module ICRC_COMPANYNUMBER_DETERMINE.

Effects on Customizing

Define the company IDs in the external systems in transaction OFB2E_CNUM.

Note

You can define rules for replacing company names by masking characters in the company ID or the RFCdestination. In the search string for the RFC connection, you can mask individual characters with +or character strings with *. In the search string and the replacement string for company names, youcan mask individual characters with +. In the replacement string, the first + represents the characterthat is masked by the first + in the search string, the second + in the replacement string for the second + in the search string, and so on.

Example

Company 1 is called G00001 in system X01, and company 2 is called G00002.

You can reflect this mapping with a rule:
- RFC destination (search string) = X01
- Company (search string) = +
- External company ID (replacement string) = G0000+
