Functionality

The BAdI method IF_EX_ISHMED_RAD_STUDYID~GENERATE_STUDY_ID generates a RISStudy ID STUDY_ID and an ACCESSION_NUMBERfrom the data of the document management record (NDOC) of the RIS Study.

The following rules apply for the construction:

  • STUDY_ID:= + , right-justified with buffering zeros, 16 characters.
  • ACCESSION_NUMBER:= Client + , 16 Characters.

Relationships

Corresponding DICOM attributes are, for example Study ID (0020,0010) und Accession Number (0008,0050).

You call the BAdI in the function module ISH_N2_RAD_CREATE_STUDYID.The function module is imbedded in the document category exit DocCreateof the shipped sample document N7STUDY (see INCLUDE N7STUDY).

Example

Notes

The values for STUDY_IDand ACCESSION_NUMBERstem from data of the RIS Study document management record. Make sure the code used is unique in the entire system and implement it, if necessary, by using a customer enhancement.

MITRA PACS Broker assigns an accession_number in the data model of each service. In this case, it isrecommended to use the prepared STUDY_ID with the sequential number (surrogate). ACCESSION_NUMBER can transfer as an ORDER_NUMBER (PACS Broker Mapping).
