Functionality

Generator for runtime objects for calculating the access plan.

A runtime object for calculating the access plan contains the following functions:

• Determine the amount ouf data for the structures defined in the conversion object

• Portion the data in accordance with the pre-defined block size

• Return ther WHERE clauses

The following prerequisites apply for this version:

• Flat conversion objects (one database table) as well as structured conversion objects are supported.

• Exactly one key field of the header structure is used as the portioning criterion.

• Optionally, exactly one other key field of the header structure can be specified as a selection criterion. For this field, 1 ... n values are possible.
