Functionality

The class contains the APIs of the generic object framework. Reading, changing, searching for data, and so on, can only be done through this level.

Outwardly, the class gets only statistical methods, which, as a rule, correspond to a private instance method. The caller should thus be spared an instance management.

Relationships

The class mainly uses the class CL_DML_ENGINE, but also methods from other DML classes.

Notes

The APIs are already used in many other SAP objects. You can use the where-used list to find existing calls and, if necessary, copy parts from them (such as the operation of the pointer technology).
