CL_DRAGDROPOBJECT - Drag&Drop Data Object

Functionality

The class CL_DRAGDROPOJECT is used to control and manage a Drag & Drop process. At the beginning ofthe Drag & Drop process, an instance of this class is created in the Control Framework and made available as a parameter to all events of the Drag & Drop process.

This Drag and Drop object stores all significant information about the current Drag & Drop process, including the drop effect chosen (copy, move), the desired flavor(see flavors),and the DRAGDROPOBJECT. This object contains or describes the object which is moved or copied in the current Drag & Drop process.

You also have the option of cancelling the Drag & Drop process by calling the method ABORT. If you do this, no further events of the current Drag & Drop process are called.
