CL_EHCSM_SPC_VALIDATIONS - Internal: EHS Specification-Related Validations

Functionality

This class is used to provide additional validations that the back-end API for specification management does not cover.

It provides the following validations and checks:

• CHECK_LONGTEXT
  Checks if mandatory data is filled in long text instances for both identifier instances and user-defined long texts that are based on a value assignment instance.

• CHECK_MANDATORY_SPC_HDR
  Checks if mandatory data of a specification header instance is filled.

• CHECK_MATERIAL_PLANT
  Checks if material and plant combination is valid for a material assigned to a specification. In addition, it determines descriptive data.

• CHECK_VAL_INST_DELETE
  Checks if a value assignment instance can be deleted. It cannot be deleted if it is inherited from another specification.
