Functionality

In the "Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility" view type you will find the "Determine Treatment" function.You can use this to define visit sequences: A visit sequence is a number of visits for the same case,which are linked together in a chain. The chain determines the sequence in which the patient visitsdifferent service facilities during an outpatient visit. Services, which must be performed at the service facilities, can be connected to each visit.

This BAdI enables the customer to individually check the visits and services in the sequence.

Example: The user enters a visit sequence with 2 visits to the admission outpatient clinic and the radiology department.

When entering the services planned for the radiology department the BAdI should check whether one ofthe services planned in the radiology department has been executed within the last 3 weeks. If this is the case, the user should receive a warning, so that the service is not unnecessarily repeated.
