Use
You can process the document recipient with the BAdI N1_DOC_PREPARE_ADDR. You control the determinationof the recipient using the recipient type. For some recipient types the recipient is determined automatically.If no recipient is determined automatically, you can preset the recipient using the BAdI N1_DOC_PREPARE_ADDR. The BAdI also enables the postprocessing of the recipient address.
You should note that there is no standard implementation of this BAdI.

Recommendation
You should always preset the recipient or postprocess the address depending on the recipient type. Youmust enter the recipient type when entering the recipient. The system automatically determines the recipient for the following recipient types:
- Patient
- Referrer (ordering OU)
- Referring physician
- Family physician
- External hospital
- Insurance
- Physician
If the automatic recipient determination does not determine a recipient, you can preset this with the BAdI. If a recipient is determined, you can use the BAdI to edit the recipient address.
If the automatic recipient determination and the BAdI implementation cannot determine a recipient, youaccess the detail screen for entering the recipient. You can enter a recipient in the detail screen. You can edit an entered recipient address using the BAdI.
Standard settings
Activities
You must execute the following activities to implement this BAdI.
Using the IMG activity you create an implementation of the BAdI in the customer namespace. However, this does not contains program code for the method.
Implement a program code for the method and activate the customer-specific enhancement. You can only activate one implementation.
