Functionality

This class is the superclass for the graphic proxy.

Notes

• For users of the subclasses

The class CL_GUI_GP has been derived from CL_GUI_CONTROL to make graphic proxies look like 'normal' control wrappers. However, the public methods are mapped to the product-specific wrapper internally.

The protected methods are not used here. The subclasses call up the appropriate methods of the product-specific wrappers directly.

• For graphic proxy developers

For graphic proxies the GFW requires only the implementation of the interfaces IF_GRAPHIC_PROXY and IF_GP_NOTIFICATION. A graphic proxy therefore does not need to be derived from the class CL_GUI_GP.

Since the superclass implements many similar tasks for all graphic types, we recommend that graphic proxies be derived.
