Functionality

This class enables change documents to be written for changes made to relationships and the additional data of relationships.

In this class, the methods ADD_CHANGEDOC_VALUES andWRITE_CHANGE_DOCUMENTS of the interfaceIF_HRBAS_CDOC_HANDLER are appropriately redefined to enable also additional data to be transferred and processed.

This class is a subclass of the class CL_HRBAS_CDOC_HANDLER.

Notes

Infotype 1001 is distinctive because it can be enhanced with additional data. Therefore, you must also assign several tables to the change object of the infotype.

Another aspect that sets this infotype apart from other infotypes is that it is used in different softwarelayers. The actual infotype belongs to SAP Basis (SAP_BASIS) while most of the additional data belongsto an application layer (usually SAP_HR). To avoid the need to deliver different versions of the changeobject for these software layers, the Basis function modules for the creation of change documents are called directly as opposed to using the generated change document update program.
