CL_HRCCE_GPRULE_CA_EMPLOYER - Grouping rule for CA employer (Registration Number)

This grouping rule reflects the Canadian Employer Registration Number (CARN) and is used for the following purposes.

• Tax infotypes
  All records that are stored within three Canadiantax infotypes must be consistent across all Personnel Assignments (PEAS) that havethe same Registration Number. In other words, for all personnel assignments whose Business Numbers havethe same first nine digits, the data stored in all records of the ProvincialTax CA infotype (0462), the Federal Tax CA infotype (0463)and the Additional Tax Data CA infotype (0464) must be consistent.
  
  For example, assume that Personnel Assignments 4701 and 4702 are associated with the same RegistrationNumber, meaning that the first nine digits of their respective Business Numbers are identical. In thiscase, the federal tax information stored for each personnel assignment in the FederalTax CA infotype (0463) should be the same. If you change the total credits for one PersonnelAssignment in Infotype 0463, the total credits will be changed for the other personnel assigment in its Infotype 0463 record.
  
  In contrast to the other three infotypes, the data stored in TaxAssignment CA infotype (0461) records is not grouped, because this infotype contains informationon employees' province of employment, employment standard jurisdiction and province of residence. Unlikerecords stored in Infotypes 0462 through 0464, the information stored in TaxAssignment CA infotype (0461) records can therefore differ from one personnel assignment to another (in other words, from PEAS to PEAS).

• Garnishment infotypes
  
  Grouping rule CARN also appliesto all records stored in the Garnishment Order CA infotype (0066),the Garnishment Debt CA infotype (0067), and the GarnishmentAdjustment CA infotype (0068) and all payroll processes related to garnishments.

• The Main Personnel Assignment infotype (0712)
  
  Finally, grouping rule CARN also applies to all records stored in subtype CARN of the Main Personnel Assignment infotype (0712).
