Functionality

This class implements interface IF_HRDEPBSVAVG_AGE_L_RULE, which is used to determine the special retirement age limit (Set Retirement Age Limit).

It takes into account the standard retirement age limits in accordance with sec. 51 para. 1 and 2 ofthe Federal Civil Service Act (BBG) which were adjusted by the Service Regulations Readjustment Act (DNeuG) for civil servants to reflect the changed pensionable age:

§51 Retirement Upon Reaching the Retirement Age Limit

(1) Civil servants with life tenure retire at the end of the month in which they reach the retirementage limit applicable to them. The retirement age limit is generally reached upon turning 67 (standard retirement age), assuming a different legal retirement age (special retirement age limit) is not defined.

(2) Civil servants with life tenure born before January 1, 1947 reach standard retirement age upon turning 65. For civil servants with life tenure born after December 31, 1946, the standard retirement age is as follows:

Relationships

Example

A retirement age limit of 65 years and 9 months is applied to civil servants born on May 5, 1955. The retirement date is determined as February 28, 2021.
