Functionality

This class provides methods for controlling the different Public Services regulations of the states.For each Public Service regulation known in the standard SAP system, a method exists (for example, BAYERN)that you can use to check whether the transferred combination of pay scale type/pay scale area belongs to the Public Service regulation.

Furthermore, additional methods exist for special regulations for one or more Public Service regulations.By default, the Public Service regulation for which the regulation is valid is defined in these methods. These methods are called in all places where it must be decided whether a regulation is valid.

Example

The method VERSORGUNGSAUFSCHLAGcontrols for which Public Services regulation a pension pay increase is calculated for professors and teachers with a special retirement age that is above the statutory standard retirement age.

Notes

You can use the Customizing activity Assign Public Services Regulation to Pay Scale Type/Pay Scale Area to make the settings for Public Services regulations.
