Definition

You can use this object to restrict the access to objects in the programmable logic controller (PLC) environment.

You can use the activity Change to perform an authorization check for this object when:

• Settings exceptions for conveyor segments, conveyor segment groups, resources, and communication points

• Starting and stopping communication channels

• Editing entries in the telegram buffer (inbound and outbound telegrams)

• Deleting entries in the telegram buffer (inbound and outbound telegrams)

• Resetting the last sequence number for sent or received telegrams at communication-channel level

• Generating PLC objects from EWM objects

• Starting and stopping telegram retries

You can use the activity Execute to perform an authorization check for this object when:

• Processing entries again in the telegram buffer (inbound and outbound telegrams)

• Sending telegrams again from the telegram log

• Triggering processing of telegrams for communication points or resources manually

• Sending status requests to the PLC
