Definition

This object controls the user authorization for an asset view in your installation.

You can define up to six different views in Asset Customizing. The asset view is itself a part of otherauthorization checks (for example, the asset view '6' has no authorization for the field 'XY' in the asset master record, or for the depreciation area '02').

The authorization is checked at the following times:

• when the user wants to select a different view

• when the user first calls up the display or maintenance transaction. The check takes place at this point, since the first view that the user is authorized to use is assigned here.

Defined fields

The authorization object consists of the one field 'asset view'. The values allowed are '1' to '6', or '*'.
