Definition

You can use this authorization object to control who can access activities and activity elements in the Project System depending on the activity category.

The system checks the authorization:

• during maintenance (editing transactions)

• during display

Defined fields

The authorization object contains the following fields:

• Activity category (sub-object)

• Action

The following values are used for the actions:

• C: General costs activity/General costs element

• E: External processing/External element

• W: Internal processing/Work element

The following values are used for the actions:

• 01: Create

• 02: Change

• 03: Display

• 41: Assign PS text

• 42: Allocate material

• 43: Assign PRT

• 44: Assign activity element

Examples

User A in plant 0001 may create activities and activity elements with the category "W" (Internal processing/Work element) as well as allocate materials and PRTs. Relevant authorizations:

• Activity category: W

• Actions: 01, 42, 43
