Definition

You can use this authorization object to release and prevent unauthorized processing of iPPE variants, depending on the variant type.

The check is executed when

• Reading/Displaying iPPE variants

• Processing iPPE variants

• Deleting iPPE variants.

An iPPE variant can only be accessed when the check for the authorization objects C_PVS_PVID (iPPE variant: external key) and C_PVS_PVTY has been executed successfully.

• ACTVT:

Activity to be executed at the iPPE variant

• 01:,,Add or Create

• 02:,,Change

• 03:,,Display

• 06:,,Delete

• APPLOBJTYP:

The application the object belongs to, such as

• CMP:,,,,Product structure

• COL:,,,,Colors

• PVTYPE:

Variant type in iPPE that is defined in the IMG activity Define iPPE Variant Types (transaction: OPPE03). Possible values include:

• S_CMPHD:,,Access variant

• S_CMPST:,,Component variant

• S_VASHD:,,Assembly header

• S_VASST:,,Assembly item,,
