Dangerous Goods Management (Changed)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-APPL 605), the following new functions are available in the Dangerous Goods Management component:

  • The terms limited quantity and excepted quantity can no longer be used as synonyms. Instead, an additional data element has been added to the existing data element so that both fields, Limited Quantity and Excepted Quantity, can now be used separately. Both fields can be edited in UN-listed substances and in the dangerous goods master. Data is available for the dangerous goods documents, dangerous goods checks, distribution, and filling. For more information, see SAP Note 1271123.
  • The input help for the Marine Pollutant field has been enhanced so that substances can now also be identified as environmentally hazardous. Data is available for the dangerous goods documents, dangerous goods checks, distribution, and filling. For more information, see SAP Note 1265493.
  • In the Specify Danger Labels Customizing activity, the Additional Info field is available. This allows you to differentiate between danger labels and additional information. For more information, see SAP Note 1265494.
