Diagnosis

You cannot regenerate the action for one of the following reasons:

  • You have specified the action as inactive in Customizing for the Post Processing Framework (PPF).
  • You have deleted the processing types for the action in Customizing for the PPF.

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administration

To activate the action, use the following procedure:

  1. Choose the Maintain PPF Settings Customizing activity in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under Process and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Reusable Objects and Functions for BOPF Environment -> PPF Adapter for Output Management.
  2. Choose the appropriate application, and choose the Define Action Profile and Actionspushbutton.
  3. Choose the appropriate action profile, and in the Dialog Structure choose Action Definition.
  4. In the Action Definition: Overview screen, deselect the Inactive checkbox for the appropriate action definition.

To specify processing types for the action, use the following procedure:

  1. Follow the steps above to navigate to the Action Definition: Overview screen.
  2. In the Action Definition: Overview screen, choose the appropriate action definition, and in the DialogStructure choose Processing Types.
  3. Enter the processing type details as appropriate.
