Business Add-In (BAdI) /CWM/DEFAULT_MIGO is used for CW materials.

This BAdI allows the entry quantity, the parallel entry quantity and the entry units of measure to be proposed for CW materials in transaction MIGO.

The default proposal logic is as follows:

  • A proposal is only made if a plant and an entry quantity are specified.
  • If no entry unit of measure is entered, the base unit of measure is proposed. If no parallel entry unit of measure is entered, the parallel unit of measure is proposed.
  • Quantities are only proposed if the entry quantity, the entry unit of measure, the parallel entry quantity, or the parallel entry unit of measure was changed by the user, or if the entry quantity or the parallel entry quantity is zero.
  • If the user changed the entry quantity or the entry unit of measure, but not the parallel entry quantity and the parallel entry unit of measure, and the entry quantity is not zero, the parallel entry quantity is recalculated.
  • If the user changed the entry quantity or the entry unit of measure, and the parallel entry quantity or the parallel entry unit of measure, and if the entry quantity and the parallel entry quantity are not zero, nothing is recalculated.
  • If the user did not change the entry quantity and the entry unit of measure, but did change the parallel entry quantity or the parallel unit of measure, and if the parallel entry quantity is not zero, the entry quantity is recalculated provided the entry unit of measure is not nondimensional.
  • If the entry quantity is zero and the parallel entry quantity is not, the entry quantity is calculated. If the parallel entry quantity is zero and the entry quantity is not, the parallel entry quantity is calculated.

If no values are to be proposed, an empty implementation must be created.

The proposal logic is not called in display mode, or for material document reversals. In addition, materials involved must be CW materials.

  • The Business Add-In is active in the standard system. Default coding exists.
  • The Business Add-In is not filter-dependent.
  • The Business Add-In is not designed for multiple use.

After you have called the IMG activity, proceed as follows:

  1. In the following dialog box, enter in the field "Implementation" a name for the BAdI implementation and choose Copy.
If implementations have already been created for the BAdI, a dialog box with the existing implementations will be displayed. In this dialog box, choose Create.
  1. In the corresponding field, enter a short text for implementation .
  2. In the tab Propertiesenter filter properties - if this is a filter-dependent BAdI.
  3. Choose the tab Interface.
The name of the implementing class is generated by the system based on the name of your impmlementation. You can change the name.
If the BAdI is a menu exit, the tab FCodes also appears.Enter a function here and, if necessary, additional data.
  1. Save your entries and assign a package.
  2. Position the cursor on a method. Call up the Class Builder by double-clicking it.
  3. Between the statements method <Interface-Name>~<Name of Method>. and endmethod, enter the coding you request for the implementation.
  4. Save and activate your coding, and navigate back to the screen Change Implementation.
  5. Save on the screen Change Implementation.
Note: You can first create an implementation for the BAdI and then activate this later on. In this case, close the processing function at this time.
  1. Choose Activate.
When the application program is executed, the coding you have created will be run.
